HARRISBURG, Pa. - Mirsad Hallep and Zane Polack each scored in an 87-second span midway through the fourth quarter lifting the Detroit Waza past the Harrisburg Heat 8-5 at the PA Farm Show's Equine Arena.
Hallep's power-play goal snapped a 5-5 tie and Polack later scored to give Detroit a 7-5 advantage.
Hallep's goal came three minutes after Heat defender Zach Sell tied the score on a power-play goal, poking home a crossing pass from Tom Mellor.
Kenneth Fultz, a second-year midfielder out of Central Dauphin High School, posted a career-high three goals for Harrisburg (1-2); Tyler Witmer and Sell accounted for the other two.
The Waza (1-1), playing for the first time since losing at home to the Heat 8-7 in overtime of last Saturday's season opener for both teams, had two goals from Mike Djerisilo and Nik Djokic.
