Written by: Rachel Snody (RSnody@SBGTV.com)

Susquehanna Township Police say a Booster Club Treasurer is accused of stealing from club funds.

Police say Lesley Darin, 38, of Crooked Hill Road was arrested and charged with three counts of felony theft by unlawful taking.

Officials began investigating after they were advised of missing money from the Susquehanna Township Midget Football Association bank account. Police say Darin had been the treasurer of the organization and was accused of taking money from the account.

Through the investigation, it was revealed that Darin was also the treasurer for the Susquehanna Township High School Softball Booster Club and the Susquehanna Township High School Girls Basketball Booster Club.  Officials say there was also money missing from those accounts as well.

Darin is accused of taking $60,000 from the three organizations.  Darin was arraigned at Dauphin County Central Booking and bail was set at $20,000.
