West Texas school district packs heat

It's not the idea of teachers carrying guns on campus or that the Texas Panhandle school is paying for the firearms. People are pausing because the new signs outside the schools warn would be criminals that the campus is armed.

Shamrock Independent School District Superintendent Wes Beck ordered the eye catching signs in July when the school board voted to allow trained staffers to have guns on campus.
